Minutemen Racing is the Formula SAE team at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, founded in 2019 by Abhishek Ravi. As a student-led organization, we design, build, and compete with our own formula-style race car, combining engineering expertise with professional development. We achieved a significant milestone by bringing our vehicle to the Pittsburgh Shootout, a regional competition that demonstrated our team's technical capability and dedicated attitude to industry partners and other institutions from across the country. 

Our team comprises 50 multidisciplinary students who have collaborated on the development and assembly of our FSAE vehicle. With our prototype ready for comprehensive testing in spring 2026, we continue to refine our design and performance. At Minutemen Racing, we are committed to fostering the professional development of our members through hands-on engineering experience, mentorship, and collaborative problem-solving that prepares students for careers in automotive and advanced manufacturing industries.
